Clutch problem

I have a 1995 4x4 f150 with the 5.0 v8. It has been sitting for about 3 or 4 weeks. the clutch is stuck on the floor and i was told it has air in the line. How do i get the air out or could it be something else. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's basically like bleeding brakes. fill the clutch reservoir, pump the clutch, have someone underneath to crack the bleeder valve to expel fluid. repeat this procedure until u get a "good" pedal

might i suggest doing a search...especially in the transmissions forum. This is one area which hasn't changed much (if at all) in these trucks.

a couple of threads that I found, might be useful to you:

I was looking recently at bleeding my clutch too, but more as a preventetive maintenance type thing.
