Virtually all tire manufacturers recommend that you do NOT run a 33x12.5-15 tire on less than an 8.5" wide rim. The specified width is 8.5-11. You're taking a real chance of rolling it off the rim by running one on a rim that narrow.

most stock rims are 7". the upgraded aluminum(sp) rim was 7.5". I have had my tires on the 7.5" rims for 4 years now, do some off-roading for hunting (ruff road, deep mud, ruts) and have not had any problems yet. I do realize they are narrow by can't afford to buy a wider rim. you could just get a 33" tire with a narrower width, say 11.5" or 10.5" or 9.5". i know they do make them. look in my gallery for the rim and tire combo and how they look, just click on the link in my sig.

A 12.5 inch wide tire will work fine with the factory 7.5 inch wheels. Know plenty of people who run them and they don't have issues with it.

The spoke rims are 15x8s, not 7.5s, so they would deff work. As you can imagine, 3/4 of an inch on each side of the tire really doesnt matter that much.

So the tire manufacturers are ALL wrong when they say not to do it?

I run 33's

I ran 33 12.50s on my 86 a little rub while turning on rough trails while going fast and hitting the bumps hard. but in town nothing would rub.https://www.f150online.com/galleries...w.cfm?num=9853

I'm interested in this thread too. Have 15x7.5 rims. Been thinking about 32 or 33x12.5, but sounds like a "run them at your own risk" idea. So probably 32x11.5's...
