Turn Signal Lever...Difficult to replace?
Hi folks,
Now that I replaced the starter, I didn't drive 10 miles when the newest problem reared it's ugly head. But it isnt a huge issue.
When I signal for a right turn now, if I flip the lever all the way into position, it may or may not turn the right signal on. That is, about 75% of the time the right turn signal will not come on. However, if I push the lever not quite to the point where it locks in, the signal works every time. I am guessing a loose or broken wire in the column.
So the question is: Will this need to be replaced? Or, is there a possible way to treat this with some kind of spray that improves the connectivity? Obviously I would rather take the path of least resistance. Meantime, I will just hold the lever in a position where it works until I fix this.
Hey, for a truck that has over 220,000 miles, this aint bad!
Thanks folks!
