edelbrock intake manifold

edelbrock informs me that the Edelbrock Performer 5.0 EFI Truck Intake Manifold
(EDL-3841)
is in high demand, and is nationally backordered. anyone run this part, or waiting for one?

yea, rebuilding and im puttin some money into it so that it'll run its *** off hopefully.

Will make a very pronounced difference in power on even a stock truck. The 302 EFI manifold makes power from 2500-6500rpm easily I'd say, it's far too large for a 302. It's better suited for a 351W. I believe something was mixed up at Ford and the 351W and 302 EFI intakes got mixed up on the drawing boards.

Alas, smaller ports equates to higher port velocity making more torque. Pretty simple. Still has more than enough volume for enough horsepower to split the production 302 block in half.

Please, make certain to get a cam while the truck is apart and down. The stock one is nothing short of junk. It's better off to make a lamp out of or a set of four for a table.
