CD Player for a 94 F150

Where can one buy a factory-like radio/Cd player for a 1994 F-150. The local salavage yards don't have anything back that far and the junkyards have junk for radios.

I take it you want a FORD brand CD player-radio.
They were very rare in 1995 and almost non-existent 1994.
So to get one, buy a 1996 - 199? Windstar CD player-radio
that will fit your dash from ebay.
The Plugs will not match on the back. So go to a salvage yard
and get the two plugs and about 6 inches of wire from a Windstar
that will fit the radio you bought. Cut off your plugs and butt splice
the Windstar plugs on, use wiring diagrams.

Or go to Walmart and buy one that will fit.

Use the bent coat hanger trick to get the Radio out.

I wanted a factory CD player for my 92, but couldnt get on. My parents gave my there Apline out of there wrecked car. I love the radio and it would be easier to put an aftermarket in it.

Any reason you want a stocker?

Thumbs up

I agree, you're better off going aftermarket not just for SQ but features and ability to dial in your sound.

I really want the factory looking radio/CD player. I know there are units out there that are better. I have the u-shaped rods to remove the Ford radios.

Rare yes but their there because i had a 1993 ford explorer that came with one factory same setup as the pre 97's it sounded as good as expected for a factory so you may outta be sure to check the eddie bauer explorers if you have your sights set on a factory but i would have to agree with the other guys you'd be better off gettin an aftermarket because in our year of trucks they look really good because you dont need the extra mounting kit and it fits snug. but either way you decide to go good luck!
