Temp guage not working; 93 F150

I just bought this truck to haul my camper and the temp guage doesnt work. Is this a hard thing to replace somewhere or am I better off going to an external guage?

Not hard at all, honestly I like to have a shop manuel for all my cars so I got one for my 93 and replaced the oil pressure guage sensor for my truck. All of 15mins.
