Question Does this sound about right?

I'm rebuilding the front end (body, not drivetrain or engine) of a 94 bronco xlt, and a salvage yard has a 92 F150 XL extended cab (just the cab, no frame, engine, driveline, or bed), but it has all the parts I need for the front. They're saying they want $1250 for the front clip. Am I being jerked around here, or is this about right? All I really need are the fenders, hood, inner fenders, grille, all lights, and the fastners, and bolts, and they're not willing to part it out.

Yeah I think it is a bit much. I got two catalogs, LMC Truck and National Parts Depot, and I dont think all those part add up to $1250. Maybe $500 for the front.

I check my LMC truck catalog adn got a rough price for you on new parts. It come out to $800 for the parts. I didnt figure in the fasteners and bolts, but they should be much. So you should be able to get the front clip for about that. $1250 is way to much, especially if you can get new parts.

Thanks, 92! I'm a little worried about shipping costs, though. I live in Fairbanks, Alaska, so most companies, thinking we're international, double the cost of shipping up here. I went ahead and requested a free catalog from LMC, I'll check 'em out.
