Wheel Spacers/Adapters ?

Hello, A question I have is, can a wheel spacer or adapter be used to change the 5 lug pattern on my '94 F150 XLT. I see alot of OEM take off rims on e-bay but they are mostly for 6 lug wheels. I have looked at the billit spacers and adapters and I was hoping I discovered a great way to get good rims at dirt cheap prices, like $300. for a set of 4 16", 17" and 18" wheels. Is this to good to be true? As always thanks for any help.

what do you mean about spacers???, do you mean them things that bring your wheel and tires out side the body more???
im just wonderin

THey make lug pattern adaptors, but they usually cause more problems than they solve. They will push the wheels outward which causes fitment problems and creates added wear and tear on steering and suspension components.

From what I have found out, yes they come in varying thicknesses(?).

Thanks for the replies, I don't want huge wheels and tires just a little bigger than stock and cheap for the price.
