Thumbs up

All depends on your budget, the stock head is poor flowing and the stock cam is junk. Basically the truck can't breathe.

I'd start with some basic stuff like a 130A alt upgrade, full exhaust (full length header), hacked air box or home-brew FIPK, bumped timing, and see how you like that. Then stick in a cam and consider a good e-fan setup. Should run far better and pick up some economy provided you can keep your foot out of it.

Parts

Truckperformance.com has a few parts for the beast and summitracing.com. For headers and camshaft kits go to cliffordperformance.com

Clifford offers nothing that cannot be bought elsewhere for a lot less money.

I believe Headers and Exaust will be first.

Also how would someone go about making their own intake kit?

If anyone has done so could they maybe post pics?

Thanks
