well my buddy of mine is a very good painter and hes been putting flames on everything he owns. he told me he would paint ghost flames on it and i just have to buy the materials. But i dont know what to do with, could some of you post some ideas on a black truck? I was thinking some deep blue pearl or deep green pearl flames, maybe with like some silver metalflake underneath, but i want them ghostly, Silver maybe? I dont want them sudden like alot of people have, i want them to be somewhat hidden.

 

I think the grey is a good ideal but i tell ya maybe a white like faded at the beginning and turnin more from a fade on down would be nice just a thought

either is very subtle on black

 

it will be done sometime this summer and i will get some pics, im going to search around a bit and try to find some pictures of other trucks and whatnot. do some test painting how it will look and whatnot. Im thinking dark blue as of right now

 

you might want to think about matching the color of the flames with your interior, this will probably look good on black but almost anything looks good on black

well that could look good i guess, maybe try looking on the intirenet at picture of different colors on a black vehicle

 

grey flames, high light the outside flame area with blue.

 

save yourself the embarrasment and dont get flames..... there old and outused and shouldnt be on anything newer then a 50's car..... imho
