93 F-150 AC Vacum Issue

My 93 F-150 has a really good AC Always has but the past few years its had a vacum issue with the AC. At idle it blows fine but when you get past about 45 it stops blowin from the vents and starts blowin through the defroster.I am aware of the part controlled by vacum under the dash because i have it propped to blow through the vents only.but my question is would it be more likely to be this peice or a line goin to it??

Thanks in advance

Daniel

I just untaped the wiring loom cut the white line and replaced with rubber hose. I'm not sure where it goes. It looks like it goes into the cab.

From what i see the line runs underneath the dash to a vacum controled arm which selects where to send your air i didnt have to go that far to fix mine but if it ever does this again im gonna replace the whole line.......... My little trick was instead of just usin tape to cover the hole like my buddy suggested i got a tube from a windex bottle and cut me two seperate peices it was a perfect fit over the line............ Tell ya in my younger days air wasnt a factor at all but the older i get its almost as important as heat and power steering theese days.............

Good luck on that truck
