pcv valve

This is the dumbest question in the world. Where in the world is the pcv valve?

On my 91 4.9,it is on top of the valve cover near the firewall under the intake manifold.You can barely see it if you look from the side.I followed the vacuum line and stuck my hand back there to get it out.I hear ya,that thing is hidden very well.

Mine is on the back side of the valve cover on the passenger side. I have a 95 F150 5.0L. Very hard to get to and very hard to replace.

On my 92 5.8L, its on the back of the valve cover near the firewall.

Simply pull the plug out of the valve cover, pull it free from the hose the other end of the PCV connects to and change the PCV once you pull the PCV/hose assembly out of the truck.
