Probably tour pitman arm. Known problem. You can either inject grease into the dust boot or replace the arm.

Inside or outside the cab ?

If inside problem is the sliding contacts for the horn / cruise need a little lube.

If outside probably a bad ball joint.

you either have to take off the plastic steering column cover or pull the steering wheel. You will then be able to see the copper rings on the back side of the steering wheel. You can use either white grease or a little motor oil. Just a little is all it takes.

Is it a squeak or a squeal?

Check the power steering fluid.

Have the same thing in my 05. Seems to be a plastic on plastic sound. Do you think it might be the same contacts?

I think your 05 would use a ribbon cable instead of contacts. You are hearing the ribbon calbe in it's holder. I don't think you can do anything about it.
