How Much Is My 94 4x4 XLT Worth?
Im trying to sell my truck. Im asking $4500 for it. I think its fair. KBB.com said its worth $5200...
Anyway here are the specs... 1994 F150 4x4 XLT, Ext Cab, Auto, Power everything, 130k miles, 8ft Bed, 5.0, New trans, oil pump, rear main, trans cooler, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, battery, o2 sensor, and several other things, all in all, I spent over 4k on fixing it in about the matter of 4-6 months. It also has bf goodwrich all terrains on it, about 90% left on the tread.
Again kbb.com said 5200 for an 94 xlt 4x4 with 130k miles. So even if I sold it at 5200 I'd be loosing the 4k I put into it. Anyhow, Ive had it for sale but not many people want it because they fear the high mileage. It goes in autotrader.com and in Tradin' Times next week. Do yall think someone will buy it for $4500. IMO its a hell of a deal for this truck, sense it has all that new stuff done to it. Its in good shape inside and outside too, NO rust build up around the wheel wells or anything either.
Thanks fellas!

94 XLT value...
Your truck sounds excellent, and had I not purchased the one I have now; I probably would have been interested in it.
I purchased my truck about 2 months ago. It's a 95 F150 X-Cab XLT w/matching cap. It has 113K miles and I paid $2500.00 for it.
The only thing it needed was a fuel pump which I will be fixing myself.
In my personal opinion $4500 is a bit high for the miles and considering it's more than 10 years old. But it's like people say, "Opinions are like A-holes...everybody has one."
I say stick to your guns and hold out for what you think it's worth. If you are not in a rush to sell, you'll get what you're asking for it. You've taken good care of your truck and it shows. Good luck with the sale!

Good luck selling your truck. Mar. 04 I bought a 96 XLT 4+4 X-cab with a short box. I gave 11K 500 for it . It had 84K miles and show room condition. It's got full length lighted boards and a Lund color matched box cover. I know that's a lot of change for a 96. The truck had been in the family since it was new and I had done about all the service work on it also. That made it worth the extra to me. All in all if you can hold out you should be able to get your price. I know the 93 F150 4+4 I traded in I didn't get near what it was worth. I bought it and it had 160k on it. Like you have done I almost rebuildt the whole thing. New long block, torque converter, brakes, and the list went on. I do all my own work and it was the same as a new truck. I traded it at a Ford dealer and was allowed 3K and almost cryed. Just didn't need two at the same time. Sell it yourself and you will do better. The dealers don't care about the history and work that has been done. Good luck!!!!!

I think your asking price seems to be in line with what I've seen. I purchased a 94 F150 xlt xtd cab swb 4x4 with a 100k on it for 8000.00 about 5 months ago. I shopped around a lot and looked at several dogs in the 4000.00 to 5000.00 range. I know the area that you live in plays a factor in value but I don't know how much. One thing I do know 8000.00 and whatever I have to do to keep it going sure sounds better than 36,000.00 fo a new one. Hold out for what your asking, it seems like a good deal to me.
