Hey,
I have a 1990 F-150 Custom and i'm just finally getting ready to start fixing it up. It has a 4.9 litre inline 6 and i want to do some minor engine mods to improve performance, like an intake. I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions. Also if you have any other suggestions about what i should do to my truck, just let me kno.

You could look into a cam swap. The best thing to ever happen to the 4.9 is fuel injection. Not many speed parts for a six cylinder with injection. You could change the rear gears for a bit more power. Other than that, I can't think of much to do with the powerplant.
