eec 122 - TPS voltage low

Hey guys first post here.. I'm driving a 94 f150 4x4 with a 5.0l v8..

Anyway.. Got a check engine light, checked the code and got a 122, Throttle position sensor voltage low. Truck runs fine, the light goes away when I give the truck a decent amount of power. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I should do before replacing the TPS..
Also, how much would a new TPS cost? I was looking online and it looked like about 30-40 bucks..

Just got one this morning, 36 bucks with my discount. You could check the voltage on the green wire with the key in the on position. Should be .9-1.0 volts. If it is less, replace it. Replace it anyway.

I'm getting 122 on my 94 E150 5.8L. I'm also getting 121 and 636, yes, the van idles and drives rough. What's most easiest tool to remove TPS? It's in real tight spot, looks like 2 philips screw holding it up. E150 don't have rooms to play like my F150. any help appreciated.

You have to remove the throttle body and turn it upside down! Only way to replace the tps.
