Old Heavy Truck Info

I recently purchased a 1966 F(orC)700 flatbed. Still running pretty well with unknown milage. The good news is that its simple (much like the cars I rebuilt in high school); the bad news is I haven't been able to find any fundamental information (load/towing capacities, engine/transmission detail, etc.) I contacted Ford, but their Heavy Truck people only have data for the last 10 years, and the light truck/auto people couldn't help either (although they tried harder). Does anyone have any websites or other contacts that might have information? I presume parts availability may be a problem, so suggestions on sourcing there will also be appreciated!

Thanks for any help available!

I have a Motor's truck manual that goes back to '62. ('62-'71)
Let me know what you need and I'll see if I can get you the info, not sure if the load/towing capacities are in there but if you tell me what eng/trans are in it I'll get you the specs and such and any other info I can. I wouldn't be too sure about parts being hard to get, it's amazing what Advance carries or can get.

Nite -- Thanks for your response. All I know right now is that my truck is a C700, 1966, with a 330 HD 2V engine (any idea what 2V means?) with a 4 speed transmission. No idea what the rear end is. I will appreciate any info you come up with. (I assume you mean Advance Auto Parts as a source for parts.)
Thanks again for your help.

2v = 2 venturi, i.e. a 2 barrel carb.
