87 f-150 squeaking noise

i have a 87 f-150 6cyl with an automatic transmission and its 2wd. This noise has been around for a while but now its drivin me nuts. It is a weird noise, hard to describe, i guess it is your normal squeaking noise but it usually happen when i accelerate. It never happens when im on the brakes, sometimes it makes the noise when i am just idleing forward and sometimes it doesnt. And it is really bad in the rain. And if i run it hard, like 80mph+ for like 30 seconds, the squeaking will go away for the rest of that day usually but be back again the next day. Any suggestions on what it might be?
