Radiator support replacement

Hello, I just bought a 1992 F-150 I6 4x4. It has 200,000 miles on it but runs fine and is quite. I have a couple of questions that have come up and I hope you guys might be able to answer. First how big a deal is it to change the radiator support bracket and where is a good place to find one? Second is how can I tell if the engine is original to the truck. It is as clean as can be top and bottom and just purrs. Thanks

If your looking to change the support, it takes a bit work. You have to take the bumper, grille, headlight mounting panel, a/c condenser, radiator, fenders, and any other small part attached to it off. Then unbolt the 2 bodymount bolts, which will be rusted in there, and take the support off.

Assemble in reverse.

Thanks. Your right about those bottom bolts. The rest sounds ok, nowhere as bad as changing the heater core in our 91 Tarus. I hope the truck has a better system than that!
