94 F150 - how do i get the tailgate off ? I've disconnected the two support cables. Looks like hinge on right allows it to be lifted out but can't figure out how ?

can any one describe what I have to do ?

I'm explaining this from memory, so forgive me if it's not precise.

1) Remove the cables
2) Open the tailgate and lower it about half way
3) Lift the right side out, towards you
4) Once the right side clears the bed, move the tailgate to the right, so it slides off the mount on the left.
