I recently purchases a 95 Ford F150 and done some work to it. It almost as good as new and is running great, however the ignition is broken and needs to be replaced. I bought the part but it says i need to remove the steering wheel to replace it. And to remove the steering wheel i have to disable the air bag (one thing always leads to another) so i was wondering if someone could please tell me how to disable the airbag (drivers side) of my 95 ford F150. Any Help is greatly appriciated because right now. Im stuck and really wanna get my truck goin

Its an SRS system if that helps.....

 

1) Disconnect battery negative, then positive cable.
2) Wait at least one minute for back-up power supply to deplete its stored energy.
3) Remove air bag module to steering wheel retaining nuts.
4) Disconnect driver side air bag module connector.
