No Oil Pressure

Hi to all,

Replaced my oil pan last week. What a pain in ther a**!

Well we have no oil pressure. It appears that the oil pump shaft did not get correctly positioned. Anyone else had or heard of this problem? Could it be a priming problem?

We took a week off to get over wanting to deep six the truck. Now am ready to go back and fix the problem.

Interested in any help or advise.

Thanks,

Tony

Which engine? If it's a small block, all you have to do is pull the distributor and stick a new shaft in. The old one is probably sitting in the pan. Leave it there.
