I've found tons of information about how to release the fuel pressure on the 4.6 and 5.4 liter engines, but nothing for the 4.9. Does the 300 L6 have a schreder valve like he 4.6 and 5.4, or if not, how can I releave the fuel pressure, so I can change out the fuel filter?

Yes, it has one, but it's a pain to get to. Set up a stool on the passenger side next to the front wheel. Reach back towards the firewall, just to the passenger side of center, behind the engine, and feel for it. I'll see if I have a pic somewhere to add...
