Question Wont start after being towed

Well after having the truck towed up to the mechanics, I found the reason it locked up and wouldn't shift. I replaced the blown fuse for brake lights, now it won't start. When the flatbed driver rode it up on the truck to haul it he unhooked the linkage?I am no mechanic, can this still be unhooked and cause the truck to now not start. It will shift out of park now all the instruments come on but it won't fire, not even a click. any suggestions. As this is Labor day weekend, I need help before Tuesday, plz.

You likely now need to readjust the safety neutral switch. Your mechanic should have a manual to show how to do this or just go and buy one. I myself would not own a vehicle without at least a parts store manual for it.
