Ran fine until 3 days ago, started out a little rough at idle and within hours it would barely run at all at idle and stumbles occassionally when you take off. Gas mileage is now measured in gallons per mile not miles per gallon. Feels like it doesnt have any power at all until it gets going then smoothes out... BTW it has a fresh built 302 with less than 3000 miles on it.

 

check engine light? have you pulled codes?

check the mass airflow sensor for dirt/debris, clean the iab/egr/tb

when was the last time you replaced o2 sensors? whats the voltage on the tps sensor?

 

Well I replaced the Idle Air Control AIC and that made a big improvement and then I replaced the cap and rotor of the distributor and all is well again.
