My appologies for my bad written Englisch. I'm a Belgian guy.

My friend has a huge problem.
He bought an imported Ford F150 Custom truck builted in 1992.

At the vehicle contole station in his town they need to find the vehicle-identification-number written on the chassis of the truck, so he can drive around legally and officially.
If he can't find this number, he has a huge problem.

He knows from the instruction manuel that the identification number can be found:
* sticker on the inside of the door.
* little metal identification plate onder the hood of the truck.
* the place behind the front window where you can also see the identification number.

For our vehicle controle service are those 3 places to find the identification number not allowed. They must see the identification number written (in the iron) on the chassis of his truck. Ownly then they will give him a free card to drive his truck.


Can somebody help me to find that number on the chassis of his truck please, so I can tell him where he has to look.

If they can't find it on the frame, they will not give a clearance to drive on the road.
For the reason they think automatticly that it is a stolen car when the VIN-code can't be located on the frame.

So can somebody tell me where I can find 1 place on the frame where the VIN-number is imprinted.
(I don't need to know them all, 1 is enough)

I am not aware of anyplace on the frame where the VIN is stamped in 1992.

 

To the best of my knowledge there are no VIN numbers on the frame. I think I'd locate myself a number punch set and have at it.

I won't tell if you don't.
