Turn signal gone

I wanted to replace the four tail lamps on my 85 F-150.
The two bottom lamps looked like they had been dead for a long time.
After taking the lamps out, I replaced them with these lamps.
Top “Lighting technologies 1157” for Stop-tail-and turn signals.
Bottom “Lighting Technologies 1156” for Signal-back-up lighting.

My break and tail lights work but nothing else.
The bottom lights don’t come on at all and I seem to have lost my turn signal from the top lights.
Would taking lamps out cause the turn signal to stop working?
They each sit down in a greasy box. Can’t explain why my turn signal would stop working.

Any ideas?

KC

Oh, thank goodness it's just an electrical problem.
When I read the thread title I was afraid you had lost your left arm.

Ha Ha..

Yes, I thought someone would soon joke on my question, "Would taking lamps out cause the turn signal to stop working? "

Well Duuuuugh.....Fixed it.
It was a blown fuse when I changed the lamps. Didn't know that one lamp has more than one fuse..

It's all good...
