fuel pump problem/question

I have a 1996 F150 w/ dual tanks, which is presently not running because of a fuel pump problem on the front tank.

The rear tank was empty when the front tank fuel pump quit.

Does this truck have dual, independant fuel pumps, so that I can drive it on the second tank to get it fixed?

Will doing this cause any damage or is it safe?
Thanks for the assist.

There is a pump in each tank, totally independent of each other. You can run on whichever tank works as most of us have done at one time or another, it won't have any adverse effects on either tank.
