replacement carburetor

hi, i have an '86 f150 4x4 with an inline 6. it has a carter yf carb. it has been rebuilt a couple of times and i now want to just replace it. hopefully with something better. i'd like to get a little more power and smoother starts. anyone have any suggestions?

i'd also like to redo the suspension. does anyone know the procedure for this? (springs and such, just had new shocks installed about a year ago.)

thanks

offenhauser makes an intake for the 300-6 that will accept a holley or edelbrock 4 barrel carb. They are kinda tough to find but are available.

As far as suspension, is there anything wrong with it?? If not why ruin a good thing? You could always find new bushings but if you don't have any noise/concerns then it isn't worth your while.

i'm going to put a 4bbl holley on it.

as far as the suspension, yes, i'm pretty sure something is wrong. the whole truck lists to one side.
