Breaking News.... This just in. After many more hours of hair pulling and testing, I think I might have found the source of my problems. It appears that the fuel tank switch in the cab might be blown. It appears my truck still thinks she has a front tank. As it's Sunday here, snowing and a good Calgary Flames game is on this afternoon I'll have to wait to test my theroy till Monday. I'll grab one from our local 'bone yard' and see if that fixes the problem.
A question for anyone out there though. I have a fuel pump that is located under the drivers seat in the frame rail. This pump no longer works, Is it ok just to remove it. Or will it cause more problems? Any ideas?
