Help!! I'm guessing since nobody has responded, that nobody has had this problem before?!? The only thing I left out it is that it's an automatic.

After warming up, and sometimes before, it changes gears very hard. Jerks, and it feels and sounds like it's breaking free from chain tied to the back end.

Just put in a new TPS. If I really give it the gas it shifts smoothly.

Appreciate any help right now. Can't spend any money on her.

 

Go to a friend recommended transmission shop....have them check your codes and/or check the functionality of the electronic shift position switch on your transmission.... experienced a similar problem.....
