Hi all

Using the front tank, my p.u. starting lurching, I switched to the rear tank...no lurching. So I changed the fuel filter (what a pain!)...no change. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem?? Thanks for your help.

 

Fuel pump. Check with a guage at the schrader valve.

 

I had the same problem with my 93 f150 5.0. After much work and asking a lot of questions, I found that the fuel pressure regulator was the problem. I replaced it and it solved the problem. I cant really remember how much it was. I wann think $20 - $30.

 

Have the same truck and the same problem. Did you solve the problem?
