squeaking noise

ok,
recently there has been this very annoying squeaking noise coming from under the bed of my truck. I am starting to think it has something to do with the driveshaft/rearend somewhere. The reason is, if I am at a redlight idleing, you can hear it but it is quiet, but noticeable. And as i accelerate and as RPMs go up it gets louder and turns into a faster squeaking noise. It is very annoying, and any help is greatly appreciated. By the way, it is a 87 f-150 2wd with a 4.9L

If your at a redlight idling, your driveshaft is not moving. That would make me suspect something else

First thing I would look at is the exhaust. That would be about the only thing that would have movement when sitting at a redlight.

My leaf springs did that. Drove me nuts. Took me almost a year to figure it out.
