squeaking noise
ok,
recently there has been this very annoying squeaking noise coming from under the bed of my truck. I am starting to think it has something to do with the driveshaft/rearend somewhere. The reason is, if I am at a redlight idleing, you can hear it but it is quiet, but noticeable. And as i accelerate and as RPMs go up it gets louder and turns into a faster squeaking noise. It is very annoying, and any help is greatly appreciated. By the way, it is a 87 f-150 2wd with a 4.9L

well, umm, i really dont know what it could be. Im just gonna get underneath the bed and load it up with wd-40. Hopefully that will help, cause i think imma end up shooting my self if this noise doesnt go away.
First thing I would look at is the exhaust. That would be about the only thing that would have movement when sitting at a redlight.
