Hi guys. I'm new to this board (just signed up), because I have a slight problem, thought you guys could help me out.
I've been looking high and low for a engine wiring harness (ECU plug in the firewall forward) for a 1987 F150 with a 4.9L.
When I got the truck it had been severely abused (ever seen gunk so cooked onto an engine from overheating that a 3 hottankings wouldn't take it off?)
Anyway, am having problems with surging and cooking ignition modules, found a bunch of wires in the harness that are cut/stripped/missing in sections (melted), and need to find a replacement harness.
Any ideas/places/special people/spares in the corner of the garage?
