My neighbour across the street just went out and purchased a 2004 Dodge 1500 HEMI, does anybody have the specs. on H.P. at the flywheel, and where the tires hit the road, 1/4 mile times etc.
I think I live in a "JONES" neighbourhood.

 

A buddy of mine has a '03 v8 Hemi crew cab, short bed 4x2 running high 14's in the 1/4 mile with just a Flowmaster muffler.

 

Was reading the 2004 puts out 345HP @5400, I take this to be at the flywheel so with a 20% power loss in the drive train, should be around 276 HP at the RWHP. If this is true then he is still going to lose at the track, I love it when a Plan Comes Together.

 

I drove a Ram 2500 quad cab with the Hemi, it had a 10' plow on it and that truck moved. Pushed lots of snow no problem.

 

I don't know if I would go as far as a "Jones" neighbourhood out there !!

Go give it a try and then go from there.
