airbag replacement

I was wandering if anyone knows of the procedure, or a manual for airbag replacement. My truck flashes a "32 code" which is the clockspring. I was wondering if the diognostic unit has to be replaced also, since the original airbag has been deployed. Not sure what damage was done to make it deploy since the truck was already repaired before I purchased it ( just not the airbag ).

You may or may not have to change the module. Sometimes the light goes away when you install the new airbag and clock spring sometimes it doesnt.

Just dissconnect the battery and take the air bag out. It bolts in from the back of the steering wheel. Then you have to take the rest of the column apart to change the clock spring.

On my ranger(look at my sig) both bags deployed. Well on it i have to replace the module under the console right under the dash. Not sure how the pres worked, but when the module gets the right jolt or whatever it may be it sets them off.

Thanks for the help

Is there a manual or web page that anyone knows of about diognostic testing and repair of the restraint system of the 94 f150's.
