newbi here I hav an 89 f 150 4X4 w/ 300- 6 in it and took it to ford they said injectors need cleaned cause every time I went from 1st to 2nd to 3rd is stuttered - jumped and bucked - cleaned injectors and the IAC still did not stop problem - also when going to these 3 gears CEL blink on and off never stays on WHATS UP ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT, By the way Ford said bring it back in they would check but I just spent 400 one cleaning injectors that they said needed to be done to stop this but never stoped, do not want to pay more PLEASE HELP

 

That does sound like dirty injectors. Check the ECM and see what codes come up. It could be an EGR problem.

 

It was a egr valve and evp egr sensor they plugged it off till new part comes in and now works great. - Cleaned injectors was money down the drain I think.
