Lightbulb Anyone ever converted from Auto to Manual?

I've done it one of my other cars. That is the thing, it was a car. Has anyone ever attempted it on these trucks? I miss driving stick.

I've got an E4OD. It's a great tranny. Shifts smooth and all. I just MISS manual! I'd be up for a trade as long as that is a manual transmission.

If you do, and you opt to swap the ECM's, too, make sure you clip the wire going to pin 30 in the 60 pin connector. Otherwise, you'll fry the ECM.

If you're going to convert, don't go to the Mazdog POS M5OD. Get a ZF out of an F250/350. It's a way stronger tranny.

Hurst or not- If I was going through the trouble of a tranny swap I would use a ZF.
