Setting idle?

Well I am going to replace my TPS this weekend and need a few pointers regarding the idle.

I farted with my idle set screw (big mistake I know now) and need to get it back to normal. I know the TPS needs to be between .90V and .99V.

I read something about unplugging the IAC to set the idle then adjusting that set screw?

What's the idle speed of an '88 302? Any help is appreciated!

Set the idle at 800 850 rpms. Then set the TPS at .98 volts. If the TPS doesnt turn far enough to get the right voltage your going to have to make the holes oblonged.
