Cool

Welcome to the board !!!!!

Build one for the truck. But that all depends upon how big you wish to go with the sub. I have a 10" Kicker Solo-Baric sitting right behind the center console. I had it built so that it sits in between the back of the console and front of the rear seat. It is the same width of the console and the height is just below the hinge on the back of the console, so the console it still usable. Had the box carpeted the same colour as the floor so it blends in well. I don't flip the rear seat at all so I was okay with this option. I am not sure where you buy them but I have heard of risers that can be placed under the bottom of the seat mounts to raise it up a couple of inches but I am not sure how this will affect the rear section (back piece) of the seat. Not sure if it would be that safe either. The stereo shop that installed my system put the amp under the rear seat in the middle where the floor dips down and then feed the sub and door speakers from there. Nice and neat and no one is the wiser unless you tell them that it is there. Can barely see the amp sitting underneath and inorder to steal it, you would have to know what the nut sizes where inorder to lift the seat up to get the amp unscrewed from the floor. Definitely a good security feature. If you wanted to go with a bigger sub than you can just make the box longer so that it would fit in behind the two front seat more inorder to get the correct area inside the box. BUT if you don't use the rear seat at all then you could always take it right out and go nuts designing something that would house all of your equipment and get some good storage as well.

Have Fun & Keep on Truckin'
