Air conditioner help please
Mine recently did the same thing. I would say you are low on freon (sp?) and the pressure is too low so it is triggering the pressure switch on the inside so it wont come on. Easy way to test is to connect a wire straight from the compressor to the battery, and if it kicks on....ur low on pressure.

you got to move to Michigan where its cold gosh i love that white stuff what is it SNOW we need it
If you have checked everything, you are probably low on refrigerant. I'd just get one of those cheapo $5 testing guages to give you an idea of the pressure in your system.
Is the A/C system totally stock in your truck? If so you may have a leaky hose, bad o-ring, or band compressor seal.

Yeah, it is stock, but I doubt it has been serviced for a while. I got it used a year ago. It snowed yesterday, so I am not very motivated to work on my ac anymore. It will be a good springtime project.
