Just wanted to let everyone know that I finally fixed the problem

It was the throttle body that has been causing all of my problems. I pulled the throttle body from my other 87 truck and installed it on this truck and it solved all the problems.

To make sure it wasnt a fluke, I installed the bad TB on my good truck and it had the same symptoms.

Oh....I also wanted to let you know that I am running the stock 87 truck computer, wiring, and fuel injection setup on a 90 Mustang roller shortblock!!

The truck computer runs smoother than the Mustang computer.
So no you dont have to change computers!!

I can not wait to swap in a stock GT cam (along with some 1.7rr) and see the diff.

does anyone know if the 89 5.0 h.o. SEFI harness is compatible with the bronco haress (headlights, dash wiring etc.)? all i really want to know is if the connectors are the same, or what i have to do to make it work. also i will be using the computer from the 89 lx, and if i do i will leave the c6 if not i was thinking about getting an AOD and computer because the 89 computer is 5 speed. plus i think the extra gear will help. the truck is an 87 stock 5.0. w/c6 trans. any info will help.
