Hey guys I needed some help I have a '86 F-150 302 EFI V8, I need to know how to pull the codes from it, my book says its possible to flash trouble codes but it doesnt say how... Could anyone tell me how? or where the Datalink Connector is...

 

Is the 86 model EFI??...I could have sworn it is carburated, but anyway, the ECM port is underneath the brake booster, way at the bottom of the firewall...Good Luck.

 

Positive its EFI its a 302 V8 '86, are there pins I jump on the port to read the codes?

 

Yes you will have to jump a pin, sorry I do not remember which ones

 

ok thanks, I couldn't find the port but Ill look again tomorrow, also theres no SES light or CEL, but there is an Emissions light, is that the one that will blink? or would I have to get a code reader...?
