Thumbs up Hey everyone, I finished the Project!!!

Well,
Everyone who saw my earlier thread about how I swapped in a 351 and a ZF 5-speed, it is done. I got the truck running last weekend, but I couldn't put the transmission in gear-turned out to be a bad slave cylinder. I put in a new one Friday night after work and I can now drive my truck. I can't drive it far because I am waiting to get the exhaust put on (Open headers are quite loud). I do have a CEL but I am hoping it will go away when the EGR is hooked up to the exhaust. I have pics if someone can host them for me. This has been one heck of a project. It has taken me 4-weeks to get this done. It is a pretty easy swap, but the running around for all the little parts take a lot of time. This should be well worth the work and it is done just in time for hunting season!!

I would have loved to have done a 460 swap except time was not on my side so I went with a quicker swap (right, 4-weeks). I am using a A9L computer out of a Mustang GT. I wanted that computer because the wiring is pretty similar to my truck and I wanted the fuel and timing curves that computer offers.

It does seem to have more power. The only thing is I only drove a tiny bit because of the open headers. As soon as the exhaust is put on this week I will have an update about the power output.
