anybody gone from power windows to manual?

anybody gone from power windows to manual?

i know this sounds kinda stupid, but im conssidering swapping my burnt out power window motors for a manual setup. can i just buy the handle and the door panel? or will i need more parts? thanks!

You will also have to buy part of the regulator assembly for inside the door. I helped a friend of mine do this on an 87 chevy pickup, and by the time he bought all the stuff to complete the job it would have been way cheaper to buy 2 new motors.

ok, thats what i wanted to know. ill just get some used motors then, thanks!

save yourself some time and just buy new motors. They tend to last longer and you know that they have not been abused yet.
