'91 F150 4.9L Stalling idle when first cranked
'91 4.9L 154K, Just R&R air and breather filter, plugs, cap, rotor, and wires.
Used to start up and idle high for a moment or two, then die back to normal idle. Now cranks and have to pat the gas to keep it going until everything gets circulating.
Overdue for an oil change, but that shouldn't matter. Have a new PCV valve but can't find the old one to replace. Also, do I have an MAF, and if so where is it too?
Any ideas?

Nope you don't have MAF...the PCV is at the very end of the valve cover towards the firewall, you kind of have to just feel for it.
You should change the fuel filter and pressure test the fuel lines, you fuel pump(s) might be going.

Thank yoiu Sprocket X. I found the valve. Can't help but wonder how much gunk I knocked into the valve cover feeling for the hole to put that thing back in? They dont' make them easy.
