Cams ????

Going to be changing my E-303 - 220/220 .498/.498 @ 110 Deg. cam now installed in my 5L MASS AIR to either

Crane 444211 (2020) - 208/216 .530/.530 @ 112Deg.
or to the
Comp.Cam 35-349-8 - 212/218 .512/.512 @ 114Deg.

need any and all info on the pro's and con's of either cam.

i dont know that much about cams, but from what ive learned i can tell you that the crane is going to make more power than the comp cam at lower rpm's, but hte compcap should idle a bit smoother. what are you going to use the truck for?

I have the Crane Cam that you show listed, but it is in a W so it will respond completely different than in your 5.0L. I can tell you how it performs though when I get the truck back. Just went into the shop last night.

I think your best bet would to call up Comp Cams and have them grind you a custom cam for your application. They are very nice and helpful on the phone. I believe a custom cam is only like $20 more than a "off the shelf" cam.
