can I block off rear tank lines?

Been working a cousin's 89 f250. The rear tank has rusted down.
Cousin wants to just block off the lines to the rear tank. Any issues/problems with plugging the rear tank lines?

I would say ok, but you'll have to eliminate the switch too. Alot of fuel flows thru them return lines.

My tank for the rear was only $115, new from Napa. I'm glad I have 2 tanks. If I didn't I'd be getting gas every 5 minutes
