1994 F150 cuts out @80 MPH

1994 F150 cuts out @80 MPH

Does anyone know why my 94 F150 cuts out at about 80 until it gets down to 75 then the power comes back. It is very consistant like it has a speed cut off or ignition cut out?

A lot of trucks have a speed limiter, i think mines at 92 mph. 80 sounds kind of low though??

Are you sure it's only at that speed, and not at a specific rpm?

What size tires and rims do you have?
