BTW- Where did you get that battery cover piece? I've got the red optima also but have a cheese rubber strap thing holding it down.

I didn't really understand your steering before now...The arm goes WITH the axle because of the hyme joints. I get it now! Very cool. Nice pictures. Great truck!

Personally, I'm all for the 351 swap. I'm all but convinced that it's the best way to go for me as well when the time comes.
